Frequently Asked Questions about my work.....

How is this different than most wedding videos?

Instead of giving you piles of just plain footage, you're getting a story, a movie of your day. The final video features dynamic, flowing camerawork and very tight editing that interweaves the natural sounds and dialog with the music to keep the viewer involved. You're paying for quality, not quantity. You will also recieve a seperate "bonus disc" of various other unused footage including the full uncut wedding ceremony, and other longer traditions, which are usually too long (and eventful) to make the final product in whole.

Why does your work look so much like an actual TV show or documentary?

My years of experience in the TV production world has given me great insight on how to shoot, edit, and produce a day in the life. I think about the little details that others don't, and really hustle to get all the needed shots that come together later. Plus, the equipment I use gives it more of a TV quality look, instead of the typical wedding video.

Why is a video so much different than just photographs?

Wedding photos, especially great ones, capture moments in time that reflect a feeling of the moment. A photographer is creating art in each picture. But, besides showing beautiful images, a my work is a total composite of images and sounds that tells a story through editing. It entertains you, and brings the feeling of the day to life by never being boring, ever. Besides taking moving pictures, I am producing a program. I'm thinking about the flow, the editing, the sound, the transitions, the reaction shots, etc. No, you can't hang a video on the wall in a frame, but nothing else comes close to sharing the memories of the day than your own "reality" program that you will watch over and over.
