Frequently Asked Questions about my work.....

How long is a typical wedding video?

Although the wedding day goes on for hours, the final video takes you through it all in about 40 mintues on average, just like a TV show (without the commercials). The wedding day is compressed through editing techniqes that keep your interest, and keep the pace moving. There is no fast fowarding or skipping ahead needed. Usually less is more. Instead of giving you piles of just plain footage, you're getting a story, a movie of your day. The final video features dynamic, flowing camerawork and very tight editing that interweaves the natural sounds and dialog with the music to keep the viewer involved. You're paying for quality, not quantity. You will also recieve a seperate "bonus disc" of the full uncut wedding ceremony, which is usually too long (and eventful) to make the final product.

Why a wedding video, I've already got a photographer?

Wedding photos, especially great ones, capture moments in time that reflect a feeling of the moment. A photographer is creating art in each picture. Besides showing beautiful images, a my work is a total composite of images and sound that tells a story through editing. It entertains you, and brings the feeling of the day to life by never being boring, ever. Besides taking moving pictures, I am producing a program. I'm thinking about the flow, the editing, the sound, the transitions, the reaction shots, etc. No, you can't hang a video on the wall in a frame, but nothing else comes close to sharing the memories of the day than your own "reality" program.
