- Ah, yes, the
cost.
If you've
read some of the pages of
this web site, and looked
at the video clips, you
can tell that this is not
the typical wedding video
that some people have
come to loath. Many
people don't even
consider a wedding video
because they've seen so
many bad ones. Most of
them are cheap, and are
only slightly better than
home video with lots of
cheezy effects.. And most
of them never get watched
more than once, if ever.
- If you like what
you've seen so far and
think it's a refreshing
option, and something you
can get excited about,
you'll have to consider
the old saying "you
get what you pay
for". Remember, the
event's of your wedding
day only happen once,
just once in your life.
You can't do it again for
the camera. So carefully
consider if saving a few
hundred dollars today is
worth what you may
actually lose forever.
You
really can't compare the
cost of the videos seen
here to most of what's
available. You have to
compare the cost to what
other quality vendors
charge for their
services. More than
likely, if you're looking
at this page you've
already hired or are
considering one of a few
very respected, high-end
photographers who almost
certainly charge more for
a collection of still
images than the entire
story that I shoot and
edit together, which goes
way beyond a collection
of stills. Relatively
speaking, I'm a bargain.
So what
is the cost? Well, you
may have noticed this
page is only linked from
the video clips page and
F.A.Q. page, so only
those interested enough
to see the sample clips,
or read about my services
will get the chance to
read this. But, you'll
have to call so I can
learn more about your
day, and perhaps give a
custom quote if
necessary, instead of
one-size-fits-all price,
that might not work for
your day.

Dave,
I
am not sure if you
remember me or not but I
considered hiring you to
tape my wedding on
9-9-06. Very
unfortunatly, we did not
go with you and I deeply
regret it. They guy we
did go with totally
blotched our
video!!!!!!!!
He
stood BEHIND me the
entire time during the
ceremony. Seriouslly!
There is not ONE face
shot of me-only the
back of my head and all
close up of my groom.
The
other camera guy was in
the balcony the entire
time and zoomed in but it
was still only the side
of me and VERY far away.
I had a 6 page list of
edits I requested for him
to change. Doubt he has
the footage but I had to
at least try.
I
deeply regret not going
with you as my instincts
said to but we went with
a local guy instead who
sort of a friend of the
families. We payed the
same amount we would have
payed you and got a
HORRIBLE video. He also
lied and treated us with
disrespect AFTER the
wedding.
as
you know- you can never
redo a wedding.
Just
thought I'd let you know
I have thought of you
often because my
intuition told me to
stick with you.....I wish
we would have.
